The EPI VIN Decoder is operational again. Per official confirmation from the provider, the upstream issue was resolved as of 16:26 UTC (21:56 IST) on 2026-07-06, and the endpoint has been serving requests normally since. This follows the outage that began at 17:06 UTC on 2026-07-01.

Identified

The EPI VIN decoder has been experiencing a full outage since 2026-07-01 17:06 UTC (22:36 IST). All requests to this endpoint are currently failing with HTTP 500 errors. The failures have been traced to errors returned by the upstream data provider that powers EPI VIN decoding. All other Marketcheck API endpoints are unaffected and operating normally. Our team is actively working to restore service and will share further updates as they become available.
